Co-parenting through isolation - part 3 of 4

In part three of our 'Co-parenting through Isolation series' we look at key considerations for good decision making:

1. Is there a vulnerable person living with you, and are the children staying at your home having an impact on their vulnerability?

2. If you have housemates – consider what impact having the children staying may have on an already stressful situation, particularly if your housemates are working from home.

3. Discuss finances - we have had a massive economic landscape change and this will have an impact on many families financially.  Be honest with each other, can you combine finances through this period for better financial resilience, are you able to help your co-parent financially?

4. Communicate effectively, honestly, and openly with your co-parent. Use this as a springboard for you both to work better together and continue good communication for your children – they will thank you for it.
